Meet the real Mr A.
*
As an artist, the Armitage captures human moments in time, like Monet captures the light. But unlike Monet, his physical being is his instrument. The Armitage is like a tuning fork and in his work he largely quivers with a pure and constant note of perfect pitch.
In the day to day, Mr A vibrates to the heavenly spheres and inhabits a sea of perfect notes he hopes to meet. His core is pure song. And when a melody arises, whether from violin or human being, he quickens. It speaks to a knowledge of him and charges him to respond. He answers.

Special thanks to Nat of The Richard Armitage Fan Blog for fanning the flame (organising). To CDoart for keeping a running index on FanstRAv posts. A huge shout out to all my remarkably creative, tenacious and hard working fellow A bloggers, you are a revelation. Thank you to the fans, readers, delightful and thoughtful commenters.
Thanks for the street party, the streamers, the fire flowers, bottle rockets and sparklers. And most of all, thanks for the dance. Now, back to my solitary perch in the gods (with Statler and Waldorf).

Well done pi! This is a poetical description of a wonderful artist!
ReplyDeletepi, I love reading your posts! Your writing is so clever and witty.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she great! Nevermind Mr. Armitage; I love her writing! :D
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful prose. Comparing him to a song -- I love it! I also love that picture of him, from the first moment I saw it! One could write volumes about that look on his face. Or condense it down to it's purest essence, as I believe you have!
ReplyDelete:)
A beautiful post about a beautiful soul. ♥
